Ace Arts

Welcome to Ace Arts
Ace Arts is a collaborative association between me and Kate Noble (BSc, PGCE). I have 30 years experience of teaching art and photography across primary, secondary, post-16 and adult education. Kate now specialises in 3D environmental art and currently runs school-based projects in the local community. Together and individually we offer a range of school and community workshops, courses and longer-term projects including:
  • drawing, painting, photography courses/workshops
  • upcycling and sculpture workshops
  • school and community artist in residence
  • private tuition for GCSE and A level fine art and photography

ACE stands for 'art, community, environment' and this is the focus of our approach. We use local and cross-cultural themes help to broaden experiences of art and explore historical and contemporary connections between individuals, communities and the natural and built environments. We encourage participation, ownership and, above all, freedom to experiment and have lots of fun!
